Gabriel Robinson '26 Recruiting Profile

Greetings Coaches,

My name is Gabriel Robinson. I was born in Christchurch, New Zealand and now live in Westchester New York. I am looking to play at the next level whether that be Collage or MLS Next Pro. My experiences all around the world have helped me understand the game in many ways that others couldn't. I believe I have great vision and creativity, which any team could benefit from. This is also my first year in America and my academics have been good and will definitely improve in my junior year of high school. 

On the field, I am currently a starter and play an important role for my club team FC Westchester. My coach uses my creativity and vision at right wing and as always given me creative freedom to cross and cut in when I have the ball. My coaches can rely on me for set prices such as corners, penalty, and free kicks, having already been credited with two assists from corners this club season, along with three goals in six league games thus far. During my High School season at Ossining High School, I played at Striker and had very good scoring and finishing attributes, and finished the season as the team’s top goal scorer with 10 goals and 5 assists. I was also given the ‘Section 1 All League’ award for my performances on the field. 

In the classroom, I came from an IB School in Singapore and Japan where I used to live. and transitioned into my new school here in New York as a sophomore. I have made the Merit Role at my school for two consecutive semesters and would like to continue that trend.  I am interested in many things at school, but I do have a love for the arts and graphic design, as well an understanding of my Law, which was a course I did very well in this year.
