As a player from a small town, I do not get as much chances to showcase my talents without go far distances. I show leadership and high energy to each and everyone of my training sessions and matches to stand out and to show my pride in the sport. I've been a captain of the varsity as a sophomore which shows my leadership in a team full of juniors and seniors and I travel far distances to get to train at a high level. I live an hour from my home field facilities and make the journey there about 4 times a week. I do also take my academics very seriously and always will put school first as it is a top priority in my future if becoming a soccer player does not turn out in my favor. I am eager to play in the higher levels in the US Soccer System, but living far from my closest teams permits me from doing so. Luckily being bilingual in English and Spanish allowed me to lead a team with a language barrier during our varsity season with no issues. Overall, leadership is one of my key assets to my game play and allows me to create a huge impact on and off the field with coaches and players to bring a better overall environment to the team itself.
