In college, I hope to continue to develop academically and athletically. I come from an immigrant background, my parents and my sister immigrated to the United States from Ukraine a few years before I was born. My sister, who is currently attending Georgetown University, did very well in high school and has continued to do well in college. It is our family's culture to strive for excellence, work hard, and dream big. My parents instilled in us the value of working hard for everything and taught us the sky is the limit. I have always been at the top of my class, and have always been an honors/scholars student, I'm confident in my abilities to be a top student wherever I go to school.
Soccer wise, I've been playing since I was 4, and have played for some top level clubs, such as World Class FC USSDA. I live and breathe the game and have always worked hard to perfect it. I've always done extra to improve my technical ability and I am confident that it is a top level. I'm a player who admires the quick and witty passing play of Man City, Barcelona, and NYCFC and have always modeled my game in the same way. Although I love scoring goals I care more about my team's performance then my personal stat sheet. However, what I really think defines my game is my soccer IQ and my movement off the ball to create space for my teammates. Also I'm disciplined and coach-able, I believe if you ask any of my coaches they will tell you the same thing.
