My name is Rafael Sanchez and I am a 16-year-old soccer player from Westbury, New York. I play center mid for the USYS Hota Bavarian 07 Blue team. Playing soccer is my passion and my goal is to play on a competitive team at the college level and beyond.

As a player, I bring a positive and competitive energy to the game. While on the field, I communicate clearly and confidently with my teammates to create scoring opportunities. I have good game awareness that helps me anticipate the movements of the ball and the players. I always play to win.

It is very important to me to have strong relationship with the coaches of my team. In training I work hard, I listen to feedback and instructions from the coach and I always try to improve my game.
