Soccer was brought upon to me early in my life when I was 1st grade. I began playing club around the 3rd grade and quickly grew a passion for competing. I no sooner then later grew to love the game itself and, training for the intense moments it would bring. I like playing as a holding center midfielder, however I can play fullback also. I am good at getting my head up and playing one or two touch soccer. I am very vocal and try to always show leadership on the field. I can drive accurate passes and shots with both feet equally. I have been told that I am not physically the best athlete on the field, but I make up for it with a good IQ and understanding off the game to put myself into good positions to win the ball and distribute. On the attack I prefer to play simple balls but when I can I will switch the point of play. I am confident on set pieces that must be placed on target and taking shots from outside the box.
I excel very highly in school and hold myself to a standard that I work myself to reach. I aim to take honors and AP classes when they can accommodate my class schedule. I have taken honors English (9,10,11), Geometry and Algebra 2(9,10), Global studies(9), AP European history(10), AP United States history(11). I also am taking Dual credit Pre-Calculus and Physics. I plan on taking AP Calculus and AP Physics in my senior year. I won Optimist if the year award in 2017, and was a member of the National Junior Honor Society.
My closing remarks are, I hold myself to high standards for everything I am passionate about. That includes my academics, athletics, anything I have a passion for. I strive to be a athlete a coach will remember coaching, and I believe that the coaches I have already had have prepared me very well to play college soccer.
