Ethan Wood '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old. My varsity began my freshman year of high school where I was tallying 50-60 minutes off the bench. The following year I was not only starting, but appointed to be a captain. I earned a second-team all star spot and helped lead the team to the sectional quarterfinals. My junior year I was also captain and had played most of the season other than a game when I had broken a rib. I played for three weeks with a broken rib. My leadership and passion for the sport makes me a valuable asset. I’m also versatile enough to play any position but goalkeeper. In college, I intend on being a biology major with a focus on pre-med. I’ve maintained a high grade point average while taking challenging courses. My drive to succeed is what keeps me motivated and helps me give 100% effort in all of my ventures.
