Arda Alan '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Arda Alan, I am 18 years old and I currently play for Black Rock FC u19 residential academy in New York.

This is my first year in the US (since September 2022), before I used to live in The Netherlands where I played soccer at a high level against professional academies. The reason why I came to the US is because I want to take my career to a next level in a different environment against different and better teams and players.

The school I am going to is called Immaculate Heart Central. I am a senior and I am seeking for an opportunity to play soccer at the highest level in a great University with a great academic program.

I am a left-footed center back with the ability to play in multiple positions such as midfield and back. I have a professional mindset on and off the field with a great work ethic and attitude. I am an extremely hard worker. I train hard and maintain a healthy lifestyle and always looking to improve my weaker points so I can reach my full potential.

My strengths are my eagerness to learn and my perseverance. I am a soccer player who, in addition to my good defensive work, mainly distinguishes myself by my calmness and confidence under pressure. I am strong in my duels and almost never lose my possession. I have an excellent pass with my left foot. My passing ability combined with my vision makes me an ideal player to start the buildup play with. I can reach my teammates between the lines as well as over the top behind the defense. I combine that with strong positive coaching of my teammates in their positions.

My academic goal is to follow a program that suits me and get my university degree at the end. Being a good and helpful person and a citizen to the society and my environment are also really important topics in my life.
