Derek Lister '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal in college is to pass with a Master's Degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering. My life goal is to have a happy and healthy lifestyle, I enjoy activities that are hands-on and I really hope to have a job inside the engineering world. I believe I can be a good candidate to a team because I am always wanting to improve, any opportunity to improve myself or the team I'll take it. I am different from others because I don't drop my head no matter the situation. I have had great coaches in my past that have taught me valuable lessons that I apply to my play and lifestyle. My body is one of the most important things to me, I go to the gym when I don't have soccer and I carry a water bottle with me at all time. I am self-motivated, usually, on the weekends I'll ride my bike over to the pitch near my house to practice. When I practice with a team I work hard to improve my performance and hopefully the team. Academically I am a good student. My grades are A's and B's and I work hard in and out of school to keep them up. My main goal in school is to keep high grades and to perform well in soccer.
