Hello Coach,
I am excited to go to college and be part of a collegiate men's soccer program where I can accomplish my academic goals and develop into an instrumental player for the team.
My most unique characteristic as a player is my personal drive and grit to continue to reach and deliver my full potential. I go far beyond just what we do in practice. I put in an average of 6-7 hours a week of additional training on my own. In addition to this, any of my coaches will tell you I am very coachable and consistently have a very positive and motivational attitude. I love to see the results of my efforts individually and as a team player.
This mentality started for me because 4 years ago I watched many players move up ahead of me, mainly due to my size at that time. I had two choices, work harder and accomplish my goal or give up. I chose to work harder and develop my game. As a result of dealing with this adversity, I have moved up to a higher team every year the last three years from a mid level classic team, to top level premier team and now to being a starting midfielder for ECNL. While others have peaked, I am just getting started!
I am very excited to take my game to the next level and become a strong contributing player for the right collegiate soccer program.
Thank you for your consideration!
