I live just outside of Charlotte, NC, and I think this goes without saying, I love soccer. I grew up in a family that loves soccer, especially my mom. I started playing/learning soccer around 4 or 5 years old in the my yard with my mom and stepfather. He knew nothing about soccer so my mom taught us both. I started playing organized soccer at 10 yrs old, with the Greater Cleveland County Soccer Association (GCCSA). My mom volunteered to coach and I think she was the first female to coach in that organization. We won every game, skills night (all teams competed against each other in skill), and the season championship. I will be starting high school in the fall of 2017, but I have played for the middle school team the last two years, in a starting position. I normally play as a striker, but I enjoy every position. My parents and I are dedicated to soccer, but more importantly, my education. I don't have transcripts to post at this time, but I am an A-B student. I will continue to work hard daily to improve my soccer abilities, in hopes to gain a college scholarship, and eventually, play soccer for a professional league. I will continue to improve my soccer abilities by attending soccer camps and playing for the local rec teams. In the mean time, I play indoor soccer when school soccer is out of season and I occasionally participate in non-organized soccer scrimmages with experienced, adult soccer players. Not only do I work hard with my team on and off the field, but I work hard practicing at home daily, with my family or by myself. I show up with a pleasant, encouraging, and team-oriented attitude, and I welcome feedback, whether good or bad, as a positive asset in helping me improve as a player. I appreciate any chance I get to improve my game, and any chance I get to just play the game. I won't let you down!
