Ben Burger '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ben Burger and I’m a starting goalkeeper for Mooresville High School in North Carolina and the starting goalkeeper for Charlotte Independence Soccer Club 03/04 North Blue (Premier League) and 04 ECNL RL (Regional League). My collegiate goals are to train hard, study, graduate with a degree, build relationships, win championships and have fun while achieving those goals. What makes me a good candidate for a team is that I train hard, I’m eager to learn all I can about my position on the field and how I can improve, I’m a team player, I genuinely  care about my teammates, and I’m coachable.  What sets me apart is that I’m a tenacious goalkeeper with the ability to lead my team. Academics do not come as easy to me, but I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field.
