Pat trained under owner Neil Fowler who led him toward ODP. Also, Neil had Pat play up, so many times he played for 2 age groups. He was primarily and attacking or outside midfielder for TC United. At the U-12 WIST tournament he led his team in goals (12) in 2 days and was given an MVP 3 times that weekend by opposing coaches.

Pat was primarily an attacking midfielder or outside midfielder in his early development years. He has been fortunate to receive MVP from opposing coaches at different tournaments for his ability to defend brilliantly and be quick, controlled and able to finish as a midfielder.
