Roman Girandola '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Roman Girandola.  I was born in Los Angeles, California and have played competitive soccer since I was 6 years old. I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio,  where I play for the top KHA ECNL B06 Academy team, and I am also playing for the Kings Hammer USL 2 Academy team this Summer. I play the 10, 11, 8, or 6, primarily playing and starting at the 10 for my club team. I attend Walnut Hills High School where I have a unweighted GPA of 3.73 and a weighted GPA of 4.45. This makes me a candidate for admission and for merit scholarships, honors programs, and other distinguished scholarship opportunities in concert with funds available for athletes. My leadership (on and off the pitch), speed, futsal foot skills, dedication, and academics are my strongest traits. I plan on playing soccer at a high level in college, while also continuing being successful in the classroom. I have been selected to be the captain of my high school team for my senior season. One of my goals in college is to be the ultimate collaborator and teammate to make any team better.

 I am currently interested in studying marketing and exercise science in college, while also pursuing minors that could open up career paths. I am an ambassador for a soccer company called Unozero, where I promote the company to others. I look forward to contributing to the team, college, and community.
