Gilberto Quintero '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gilberto Quintero , and I attend Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus Ohio.    I would like to attend a good college where I can play soccer as well as focus on academics.  I want to study Computer Science.  

I believe I am different from the other recruits due to my playing my style, as well as my ability to play different positions.  I have played academy/competitive club soccer in top divisions and usually lead my teams in assists or goals.  My playing style is based on my speed and control of the ball.  This gives me an edge over other players.   I am also a short distance track runner.   Running track  as a sprinter,  has really helped me become a better striker and midfielder player.  I participated in the State Junior Olympics, and place 4 and 5in the 100m dash race two years in a row.  I believe I can really give the edge to a team who is looking for a striker or a winger with great speed, as well as good shooting and passing skills.  I am very motivated, and always try to be a leader.   Academics are also very important to me.
