Ryan DeStefanis '23 Recruiting Profile

I have had a soccer ball at my feet for as long as I can remember.  I have played every position from back to front, but I found my home in the central midfield.  Having seen the game from each perspective, I have developed the ability to see the whole field and sense what's coming.  My teammates even nicknamed me "Visionary."  Credit is due to my coaches, who have shown me how to control the center of the field, stop the opposition's attack, and kickstart the offense. 

I strive to be an example on and off the field as both captain and student.  School is just as important, and I work feverishly to maintain my straight A's and achieve the highest academic achievements.  My efforts have resulted in scholarships and are the only reason I am in the position and school I am today.  I have found a love for Architecture, and I cannot wait to attack this field and build a future upon my foundation thus far…
