Soccer is a sport that I have played ever since I was a kid, back on the streets of Kumasi , a city in central Ghana, West Africa. .I remember those times where we intentionally got out of school early  or left the home without permission just to go and play, sometimes without the proper gear.. I played recreational soccer with my friends and church members. I also played for my  high school team in Ghana and my local youth club. I regularly watch soccer and I'm a big supporter of the Chelsea Football club.

I also love watching players like Robert Lewandowski , Kylian Mbappe . Mohammed Salah, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic and Kevin de Bruyne. The have key traits like accurate shooting, precise finishing, good passing technique, acceleration and aerial threat .I want to incorporate them into my game. When it comes to game style, I like Pep Guardiola’s constant pressing and “tiki-taka” style of play that creates lots of chances upfront.

I see myself as a very good soccer player and I possess qualities like shot power , good finishing , ability to read the game ,long passes , aggressiveness , heading and strength. But I still  have a lot of areas to improve, especially my speed , short passes and vision. When I moved to the United States in December of 2020 , I joined my school football team where  I played on the defensive and offensive line . Prior to moving here, I had never played gridiron football  but I learned how to play and enjoy playing and watching it as much as soccer. I like Myles Garrett and Nick Bosa’s style of play on the edge, and I wouldn’t hesitate if I got the opportunity to play football as well. 

In school , I am someone who strives to keep my grades up . I  adapted quickly to the American educational system and have received many awards here as well as in Ghana . I’m a very quiet and reserved person , but I open up over time  and I love meeting new people and having new experiences .I am  always open to taking any opportunities I get in life. I am also a person who is into computers and technology , I want to pursue a career in software development and possibly own a  tech firm , I love using devices and would love to create software that could be used to solve problems, If there is three words that would adequately describe me it would be determined ,passionate  and smart. I believe everyone should be given a chance in life to prove themselves.
