John (Archi) Archibald '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play soccer at the highest level possible and to be able to compete on a daily basis. I love soccer...I live and breath the sport.  I am a good leader who will always do what's in the best interest of the team. I am positive, upbeat,and determined. I was voted team captain by my teammates on both my high school soccer team and my club team. I think my best attribute as a player and student is my work ethic. Whether in practice or games or on and off the field, I will always give you 110%. My favorite position to play is center-mid. I love to run the game and be the engine of the midfield. I love the feeling of working hard to win the ball back defensively and setting up my attackers for a goal scoring opportunity. 

In school, academics don't come easily to me, so I have to work extra hard for my grades. I find times and ways to meet with each of my teachers to ensure I am on the right track. I was taught at a very young age to advocate for myself with my coaches and teachers. I finished the first quarter with a 3.71 GPA.
