Alexandru Lechintan '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexandru Lechintan, I am a senior at Geneva High School, President of Senior Class  and the Captain of the Soccer team. I've been playing soccer since I can remember, recreational, Travel soccer, Premier Club (actively). I am on the starting  Varsity roaster since my Freshman year, I've had several awards, but the latest as a Junior were, First Team  All Ashtabula County, First Team Chagrin Valley Conference, First Team Greater Cleveland (2017, 2018), MVP as a Sophomore and Senior Player of the year as a junior. As of right now, I am actively looking at colleges, I would like to study Computer Science and play soccer at the same time. My ACT score is 32, and I have a 4.33 GPA . Academics are very important to me, along with my continued interest in playing the game.  I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.I have good ball handling skills, I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coach-able and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.I also volunteer at local youth recreational soccer program in Geneva.I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
