Michael Boling '23 Recruiting Profile

    I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. I have also played other sports like baseball, basketball, flag football, and snowboarding.  I enjoy playing soccer most of all.  Besides being a fun sport that keeps me fit, soccer has given me the motivation, determination, and passion to succeed.  It has also given me the opportunity to play internationally in Barcelona, Spain, twice.  Playing soccer has taught me the meaning of teamwork, sacrifice, and dedication. It has also taught me perseverance, not just on the field, but in school too. I try to balance my grades and soccer because I know how important it is for my future.   One of my goals is to be on the honor roll all four years.  I will do this while challenging myself with AP and accelerated classes.   Having strong family bonds is one of my core values.  One thing I am very grateful for is all of the support I get from my parents.   They always try to help me succeed in everything that I do.  My club team values are Ambition, Effort, Humility, Respect, and Teamwork.  I stand by these values.

     I am looking for a university with a competitive academic and competitive athletic program.  I plan to excel in my academic career while playing the sport that I love and hope to compete for a National Championship.  Accomplishing this goal would be the greatest start to my adult life.
