I bought a $25 baseball cap with a chicken sandwich when I was 13. I know how to think outside the box. I can adapt to a situation in soccer quickly. By the first 5 minutes of a match, I will already know what kind of player my opponent is and how he plays, his strengths and weaknesses. For example, if I am facing a really fast and strong player who likes to run, I will drop off and see how good he is on the ball; if I am up against a technically gifted opponent, then I will be right on his back, making it hard for him to get a touch on the ball. While my primary position is outside back, I am very versatile on the field. My club soccer coach says, "You know the game very well. I can put you at 10 different positions on the field."
Academically speaking, my brain works faster than the average student my age, especially in mathematics. I enjoy being challenged and crave learning more, while showing that there can be multiple ways to finding one solution or multiple solutions for one problem. I am seeking a college that will allow me to learn at a quick pace and higher level, while playing soccer at a quicker pace and higher level. I am looking for a school that will allow me to play soccer while majoring in subject matter such as Engineering or Marketing.
