I became interested in soccer through my older brother who played until he joined the Air Force. I’ve been around the sport my whole life thanks to my family and cousins. I have learned a lot about myself and helping others while helping my teammates. The sport of soccer also gave me a purpose to work towards something and be determined to be good at it.
My academic goals in high school is to maintain over a 3.0 GPA and learn better study habits as the years progress. My biggest soccer challenge has always been my size and also playing on teams 2-3 years older to become a better player. My biggest life challenge is living with my older brother who is non-verbal with severe autism, it has showed me how to overcome things and work through challenges in life.
