Personal Statement
My name is Cameron Williams. I am a Junior Wing/Forward on the District Champion Pickerington North High School in Pickerington Ohio coached by Darren Monhollen. I am also a member of the Sporting Columbus Soccer Club (formerly Crew Pre-Academy). I have worked extremely hard learning the game of soccer since the age of 6 years old. I have been trained by some very good coaches who also played internationally, and they have increased my desire to want to continue the sport into college. I work extremely hard on and off the field and that work ethic is one of my strengths I plan to bring to any program I have the opportunity to be a team member of. I also value how I represent my school, club, and family and I work hard to make sure that I represent them well. I love my teammates and I play hard for them, which I think is important to being part of a team with aspirations. I am very unselfish and desire to have my team excel in whatever role I play. I am constantly improving my skill and now that I have grown to slightly over 6 ft. I am working hard in the weight room to improve my strength agility, and speed.Ultimately what makes me different than a lot of other recruits is how hard I play as well as how unselfish I am in regard to my team. I have been fortunate to play multiple positions as I have developed, and I am willing to play where the team needs me for us to be successful. I know I have to keep working and I will, and I am confident I will be an asset to the program I am blessed to be a part of.
