Brody Burcham '24 Recruiting Profile

        It has been my dream to play collegiate soccer since I started playing when I was four years old.  From the first kick of the ball I have fallen in love with the sport and it is something I take a lot of pride in.  What I am most proud of in the sport of soccer is being a great teammate and lifting others up with whatever leadership they respond best to.  Apart from scoring goals and creating chances, creating a positive team atmosphere is something I have always done because I know that teams win games and not individuals.

       I live with my parents, two dogs, and two younger sisters who are about to be teenagers.  During the school year I spend most of my time playing sports since I play soccer and golf for my school during the fall and tennis and club soccer in the spring.  Over the summer, my schedule is more or less the same except that I have a lot more time to hang out with friends and go swimming. 

       I am not only competitive with sports but also with academics.  Academics have always been most important to me and I would want to go to a college that is not only competitive in soccer but also academically.
