Since the young age of two, I have been extremely passionate about soccer. Learning and playing the game has taught me invaluable lessons on and off the field, both as a player and a person. My goal is to gain the experience in high school to apply towards my college soccer career, and eventually professionally. My dream is to play Division I or II soccer at a highly competitive school that focuses on personal development and overall academic and athletic achievements. My competitiveness, perseverance, and dedication helped lead me through a difficult injury my freshman year. Part way through my freshman Varsity season, I tore my ACL and meniscus, leading me to have a full reconstruction of my ACL. I overcame my injury through hard work and rigorous physical therapy, allowing me to be cleared by my surgeon and physical therapy staff after seven and a half months versus the 9-12 months that I was originally told. My love of the game, my unique ability to read the field as a goalie and be a reliable team player have allowed me to be the best that I can be with my team. Academically, I pursue higher level courses to challenge myself in the classroom as well.
