Ignacio Torres '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, My name is Ignacio Torres and I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador, at the age of 11, my family and I moved to Ontario, Canada. Now that I live in Canada I play for Oakville Soccer Club. I am currently in my Senior year at Assumption Catholic Secondary school. Soccer was first introduced to me when I was 4 years old and since then I have fallen in love with the sport. I have always enjoyed playing soccer and analyzing my game through the years and see on what I can improve on. As a player, I would say that I also consider myself as a playmaker and someone that always wants to be involved in the game, someone who is coachable and can get used to a team or coach's playing style really easily. I would like to take the next step and take my game to another level and play for a university/college where I can play soccer but also take my studies to a new level. I also have an interest in business, so I am hoping to study business management.
