Anton Favre '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anton Favre, since I was young, my dream had always been to play college soccer while pursuing a degree in business. I am from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Taking my studies and my soccer abilities to the next level has always been a goal of mine.

I am 6'2" and weigh 170 pounds. My coaches will tell you that my strengths are in my distribution out of the back, my communication with my teammates, my leadership, and my shot-stopping. I am a dedicated player always looking for new advice to improve my skills in any way possible.

For my high school career I attended École Secondaire Louis-Riel in the sport-études soccer program, which allowed me to train and play even more with a strong team. I was the starting goalkeeper on the school’s senior soccer team. I played for West Ottawa Club on the U18 Elite team, a team that has had great success in many tournaments notably: Montverde SIMA, Disney Showcase, and Jefferson Cup.

I am currently a freshman at Albion College, I have a 3.6 GPA for my first college semester. As for my rookie season I started 12 of 14 games totalling 1039 minutes with 2 shutouts.
