Nicholas Tavares '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 6 years old for Brampton Youth Soccer Club (ON) and at the age of 7 I was selected for the city all-star team, then at the age of 8 selected for the Rep soccer team and played for Brampton from age 8-14, which I was 3rd in league goal scoring for my last season (11 goals in 19 games).  At the age of 15 I went to play for Oakville Soccer club (ON) and still play for Oakville Soccer Club (ON). Where we have recently won the league cup trophy, Kingston cup tournament and 2nd place in the Florida coast cup. In my Jr year of high school I was a starter and we went on to win The Notre Dame Tournament, The Jean Vanier Tournament along with the League trophy in the same year, in 2020 season I was the captain of the Jr high school team in my grade 10 year where went went on to win The Jean Vanier Tournament, then unfortunately the season was cancelled.  I believe I am a good leader on and off the field, by encouraging and helping my teammates to achieve our season goal.
