Edward Opoku-Dapaah '19 Recruiting Profile

When I was 4 years old, my parents enrolled me in a house league soccer program, which led to my inspiration to play soccer. I was recruited to play rep soccer at eight years old for the Glen Shields Football Club 01'.  Today, I am proud to be part of the Vaughan Azzuri Rebels CSL team and try to be a team leader on and off the field.  Throughout my soccer years, our team has won many tournaments and league cups. I have excellent foot work, good strength on the ball and have the ability to play both offensively and defensively. Throughout my high school years, I have been fortunate to have been taught by knowledgeable and inspiring coaches and teachers.  This school's challenging curriculum will help me excel in my future College/University years.  I am very coachable and am willing to learn how to better my soccer skills with motivating coaches.  I am interested in attending a college in the USA for an education first and foremost, while having the opportunity to play at the Collegiate level.  I am very passionate about playing soccer and hope to find a school with the right academic and athletic match.
