Let me start by saying soccer is my passion. Ever since I can remember, I have had a soccer ball nearby. I am Jamaican, born here in Oregon, and I suppose soccer is in my blood.
I would say that my greatest strength as a player (and my coaches would affirm) is my ability to play anywhere that is needed on the field.
Even though I live in a small community, I have always sought out opportunities to up my game and train at the highest level possible. I have played on my state ODP team (Portland Timbers) for the last 3 years (Timbers 2000 boys ODP team won the regionIV championship for the first time ever this year and I had the honor of being a part of that winning team as well as advancing to the national championships, where we came in 2nd).
I’m a First Team ALL STATE player. I also am part of the REGION IV team. I’ve taken every opportunity that I have had and made the best of it. I train hard and take care of my body and mind so I can be the best I can be at the game I love.
I want to continue to play at the highest level possible and hope to find a coach who really believes in my so I can devote myself to my school and my team while getting a solid college education.
I am interested in architecture as design and will likely initially pursue a degree in business.
