2020 Highlights I won the Oregon State Cup when I was a sophomore. After an unsatisfying season through my freshman year, we have become a team with good chemistry and great teamwork. I think that feeling of disappointment and revenge pushed me to succeed after my freshman year. I train by myself every day but at the same time, I am working hard to maintain my high grades at school as well. I am trying my best to keep up my GPA while being a Full-IB student.
In the summer of 2019, I went to Argentina with a connection with my last club team head coach, Sergio Escudero-brother of former U-20 Argentine National Team Player and himself used to play for Velez Sarsfield. I played for the 2003 youth team of the 2nd division team called Club Deportivo Moron playing 10 games and scored 5 goals as a striker. My coach commented that I am capable of scoring goals from everywhere.
I changed my position to midfield since I felt that I needed to defend more to win important matches. My strengths are providing long feeds to the wings, and getting the ball back in midfield. I slide tackle most of the time even in practice because I believe that the desire for the ball is greater than anyone else on the pitch.
I was prosperous enough to be a part of an amazing team, winning the title of the state of Oregon. I learned the value of effort, teamwork, and sacrifice to earn the trophy. I am seeking a program that will grow my potential not just in athletics but in academics as well for my college life. I believe that not only my effort will successfully influence the team but the character will make an immediate impact on your program. As an athlete and a 2-time captain, I know how to show leadership throughout a program.
My goal is to become a professional soccer player, and that hasn't changed since I was age 8. But not only that I want to pursue my dream, but I would like to focus on having many options. And I am looking for a college where it can provide great education and a great soccer program.
