Quentin Torbert '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Quentin Torbert, and I am a Senior at La Salle Catholic College Preparatory in Portland, Oregon.  For my high school teams, I have mostly played at the 10, and have been a starter since my Freshman year. Needing some defensive help my Jr year, I slid back to play as a center back the last 4 games and received 2nd team all conference honors as a defender.

For club soccer, I have also played multiple positions.  Now mostly playing as a false 9, I think my size, athleticism, strength, and speed help make me a valuable asset to my team. I have always been a pass-first player, and often look to put other people in scoring opportunities. Since I have had experience in other positions, I am able to implement my midfield vision, defensive positioning and work rate, and quality passing into my game as a striker. Through 40 games last season, I led the team in goal contributions with 18 goals and 16 assists.

I also aspire for excellence in my education. I have maintained a 3.7 GPA (unweighted) throughout my first three years of high school, and am enrolled in several AP and Honors classes. I have always been good with numbers and hope to do something in Engineering, Finance, Business or Economics in college.
