I first started to play soccer in 4th grade, just to get to know people at my school, then when I was in 6th grade one of my friends asked if I wanted to join a club team with him and I did, one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. I made the first team for the club as it was a smaller club and grew as a player and as a person. My freshman year soccer was very different because it was in the spring and we were wearing mask because of covid. I made the varsity team and started my very first game scoring two goals. A couple games later I got injured so I missed half of the season but came back and started working so that I wouldn't feel like I let my team down again. I made varsity all 4 years of high school and started each year. I stepped up as a leader on the team and was voted captain my senior year. I stayed at the club I joined all of those years ago until this summer where I transferred over to the eastside timbers and made the first team there. We have had a tough start in our summer tournament winning only one game, but we recently had another tournament this fall where we won every game and played well as a team. I believe I will be a great addition to any college team, never let my team down, finding ways to add value on and off the field and encourage my teammates.
