Ian Pries '20 Recruiting Profile

The perfect school for me is a school that cares about their academics as well as their soccer program.  I am as focused about academics as I am focused on soccer.  I currently play for Westside Timbers in Oregon and just finished up a trimester playing for an Oberliga Club in Hamburg Germany , called SVNA, which taught me great deal about adapting to a new environment, culture, coaching style and really helped in improving not only my athletic abilities, but also my mental strength.  The sport of soccer is, and always has been my absolute passion and is also my family's passion. I have a strong academic record, a 4.0 GPA and plan to graduate with honors.  I have called Oregon my home since birth and have traveled extensively over the years and am bilingual German-English.  I am looking forward to this next chapter in my life!
