As you can see from my GPA, I work incredibly hard academically.  I work equally hard on the soccer field.  When I was in middle school, I dreamed of one day playing college ball.  Now I know that my college dream also includes the study of Mathematics.

Hard work is not the only thing that defines me though.  I am also a dedicated friend and teammate, an ardent student of the game, a committed person of faith, and am both highly responsible and dependable.  I respect those in authority over me and am a leader and an encourager to others.

Finally, I want you to know that I consider myself to be a mentally tough athlete.  As an example, alone and on my own time I trained and participated in a half-marathon.  I completed the 13.1 mile run in 1:40:42, managing a 7.69 minute average pace.
