My name is Landon Shank and I have been playing soccer for 12 years. I started my journey when I was about three years old in Soccer Shots. Later, I moved to a more official soccer team called Dover Academy in the town I grew up in. I played for Dover Academy for 3-4 years until I decided to get into club soccer.
I played defense at FC Ballyhoo for a year. I didn’t believe it was the perfect fit for me, so I moved to Penn FC Youth. I was team captain for two years and have played center defensive mid. I am currently still playing at Penn FC and plan to continue there for the rest of my club career. At Penn FC I have also volunteered with their TOPSoccer program, in helping kids with disabilities learn soccer.
My junior high seasons I was center defensive mid on the highest team at Dover Area Middle School. Then, I went to Dover Area High School where I was JV captain as a freshman. During the most recent season as a sophomore I was put onto varsity as a starting left back. After high school I would like to continue playing soccer at the college level and major in engineering.
