Owen Kline '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Owen Kline. I am currently a junior who starts for both my varsity team and club team. I am definitely a strong leader not just with my voice, but with my work ethic as well. I do very well in school, getting an A in every grade. I am also not afraid of a challenge, taking some of the most advanced classes in my high-school for my grade. Soccer, honestly means everything to me. When I get home after school I'm either doing homework, playing soccer, or watching soccer. My best attribute as an attacking midfielder is my vision to make brilliant and smart decisions with the ball. As the penalty taker for my club team and high-school team, I am very calm under pressure and have never missed a pk. I'm also very good at making defenders miss with intelligent touches. Defensively, I am pretty good with making defensive tackles, and making the other team pass backwards. Another key component of my game is attacking the ball in the air defensively and offensively. I also try to communicate specifically and constantly. I additionally have experience playing forward, winger, and goalie in a pinch. I would like to major in mathematics, something computer based, or art, and would really appreciate a chance to play collegiate soccer at the next level for the best team I can possibly get on.
