I am Owens Maines and a Honor Roll Student in the Class of 2026 at Lampeter Strasburg Highschool.
As an outside midfielder and forward, I bring a relentless combination of speed, physicality, and work ethic to every game. Whether I’m outpacing defenders on the wing or battling for possession, my dedication to leaving everything on the field defines me. My passion for soccer is matched by my determination to excel in the classroom, where I aim to pursue a degree in engineering or architecture while playing at a higher level.
On the field, my speed is my key feature, allowing me to stretch defenses and create opportunities for my team. My work ethic in practices is shown in games as I run down every loose ball, pressing with intensity, and supporting my teammates defensively. Off the field, I keep that same drive into academics and leadership.
Having faced personal challenges, including the loss of my father, I’ve developed a deep sense of responsibility and resilience. Volunteering and coaching youth soccer have taught me the value of mentorship and the importance of giving back to the community. These experiences fuel my determination to succeed in soccer and life.
I keep a coachable attitude and always excited to learn how to excel my game as a player. I’m excited about the opportunity to bring my energy, versatility, and ambition to your program and contribute to a culture.
