Collin Stanion '26 Recruiting Profile

My passion for soccer began at the U6 PA Classics Junior Academy in Lancaster PA.  I stayed with the Junior Academy until I qualified for the U9 PA Classics Elite team, and I continued to grow with the program thru my U11 season.  The Fall of my U12 season I took an opportunity to join the 08 Lancaster Elite White Lightning, which allowed me to experience new coaches and new technical direction.  In 2020, I qualified for the Manheim Township Freshman team as a seventh grader, providing me the opportunity to meet new challenges against players at higher age groups and skill levels.  The following year I continued to play for the Freshman team, and moved up an age group from 08 to 07 on my Lancaster Elite club team.   From there, I trained hard to be the starting CAM for the 08 Lancaster Elite Collegiate Showcase team, the 07 Lancaster Elite Cosmos, the 08 Eastern PA ODP team, and the Manheim Township JV team as a freshman.  I was very fortunate to travel to Barcelona with my ODP team to compete with local clubs in Spain.  This year I continued to support my High School JV team at CAM to an undefeated season, while leading the team in assists.  Since then, I took an opportunity to train and earn a spot on the new Lancaster City FC USL team that will begin competing in early 2024.  Additionally, for the last two years I have incorporated one on one training with Train13 coach Ryan Butler, as well as sports conditioning training at my local gym..  It is my intention to continue to develop and pursue excellence as both a player and a student throughout my high school and college years.  I understand that in order to find my greatest potential, I must also be willing to help others find theirs, and it is in those moments that we discover who we really are, and who we want to become. I believe it is my ability to both lead and follow that makes me an excellent candidate for your program.
