Collin Stanion '26 Recruiting Profile

My passion for soccer began at home when I was only four years old.  My dad had played when he was younger, and it was something that he and I would often do together.  That passion quickly became a fire that I learned to feed, and from 2012 thru 2023, my soccer career allowed me to experience coaches, teammates, and competitors at both PA Classics and Lancaster Elite.  In 2020, I was selected for my high school Freshman team as a seventh grader, providing me the opportunity to meet new challenges against players at higher age groups and skill levels.  Since then, I have continued to play for my high school team at the JV and Varsity levels.  In 2022, I was selected for the 08 Lancaster Elite Collegiate Showcase team, and Eastern PA ODP team, which allowed me to travel to Barcelona to compete with some very talented clubs in Spain, while still supporting my high school team to an undefeated season, where I led the team in assists. In 2023, I added one on one training with Train13 coach Ryan Butler, as well as a strength and conditioning regiment with Elite Sports Trainer Nate Grahem.  The extra work paid off, and in late 2023 I was selected to join the newly formed 08 Lancaster FC Academy, which has allowed me to experience a whole new level of coaching and competition.  It is my intention to continue to develop and pursue excellence as both a player and a student throughout my remaining high school and college years.  I understand that in order to find my greatest potential, I must also be willing to help others find theirs, and it is in those moments that we discover who we really are, and who we want to be. I believe it is my ability to lead and follow both on and off the field that makes me an excellent candidate for your program.
