Cooper Tadeo '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cooper Tadeo and I’d like to think of myself as a game changer.  I am a rising junior at The Phelps School and was told by many of my teachers and coaches, I am a hardworking, dedicated and committed student and player.  

I have been playing soccer since elementary school and attended many Philadelphia Union, YSC, Villanova and other soccer camps throughout the years.  Currently, I am the Center-Attacking Midfielder on FC Europa’s ECNL-RL 2008 Boys Team.  In February of 2024, my travel team won the Baltimore Mania Tournament for our age group and bracket. We are scheduled to play in the ECNL Regional League Showcase in Richmond, VA this November as well as the ECNL Regional League Florida 2025 Showcase this upcoming January.

I was also recently recruited for the second time to The Phelps School and accepted the offer!  This has been a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am very thankful to play with teammates from all over the world.  It truly has been an amazing experience thus far and has boosted my player and skill development, confidence, responsibility and has impacted me positively in all aspects of the game. 

I am also a founding member of the top tier Gold Team for the Philadelphia Union’s Player Pathway Program. I have been to two tournaments at the ESPN Wide World of Sports where we made it to the Semi-Finals our first year competing with the Union. 

My next step toward my future is to find a college or university that has a Sports Management Major. Sports, specifically soccer is my passion and I hope to find an educational institution that can accommodate all of my needs to succeed.
