Alexander Garbin '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Alex Garbin. I play center back for South Fayette High School. In the fall of 2024, as a sophomore at my high school, I started varsity in all of our games in our 2024 season. My high school team won the WPIAL 3A (PIAA District 7) championship in the 2023-2024 season. I have previously played for the Riverhounds Development Academy for four years. I am currently on the 2008 Beadling U17 NAL team. I have loved the sport of soccer since I was four years old. The teamwork and quick thinking needed to play had made it a perfect match for me. My work ethic in and out of practice has always been no nonsense and to put in 100% no matter what it is I’m doing. Aside from club and school practices, I spend a lot of time conditioning and speed training. I work out every morning prior to leaving for school to maintain and build muscle.  A strong academic focus is important to me as well.  I see myself in a medical field, possibly being a physician assistant, in the future. In college I hope to pursue soccer while still balancing academics.
