I am a passionate person. I am passionate about my family, playing soccer and playing music. I am a grateful person, grateful to God, my parents and the coaches and people who have supported, taught and helped me to become who I am today and who will continue to offer their support. I am goal oriented and dedicated to improving. I am service oriented with good leadership qualities. I have been captain of both of the travel leagues I play on and am a definite positive communicator on the soccer field.
My collegiate goals are to play college soccer while obtaining a Music Education Degree. My immediate after college goals are to make a difference by working as a teacher, helping others, continuing playing soccer and sharing my music.
I started out my youth soccer career as a field player, most recently as a striker. I decided I wanted to become a goalie and started working toward that goal in 2013, training year round, on my own, with friends and through camps and training classes. I have always started on the travel clubs I play on and play for 90-100% or the games I am in. Throughout these seasons with my club and high school team, I have learned valuable lessons on and off the field such as humbleness, commitment, work-ethic, and teamwork. I believe that these are attributes that form a solid player.
In both 2016 and 2017, my high school team won districts. Winning districts was a journey of the traits I mentioned above. It felt good to be a part of that.
I am always working at improving my game and skill level, setting short and long-term goals for improvement.
My coaches and trainers all offer positive comments on my work ethics, respect, leadership skills, confidence, self-motivation, goal keeper and field player skills and knowledge. I am a team player.
In the press section of my profile I have attached letters of recommendation from my coaches.
I am looking for a good fit-a college that meets my needs and a soccer team where I meet their needs. I would also welcome the opportunity to speak with you about your program and how I might be an asset to the team.
