Jon-Mark Balbach '25 Recruiting Profile

My priorities, both on and off the field, are teamwork, excellence, and integrity. I am looking for a school that aligns with my priorities, as well as my soccer and academic goals beyond high school. As I begin my junior year, I am still exploring what my future academic focus will be, but my education is just as important to me as soccer as evidenced by my current GPA of 3.96. Along with soccer and academics, I am involved in serving the community and my church on the tech team and in the cafe and am an active member in my youth group.

I am currently the starting defensive midfielder for the FC Pittsburgh 07B Gold Team. In addition, I am the starting defensive midfielder on my high school varsity team (Moon Area High School - PIAA 3A classification). My personal playing style is hard-working and fast, with an offensive mind from a defensive position. I enjoy moving the ball and setting up big plays.
