Abou Cherif '24 Recruiting Profile

As a soccer player, my dream is to go pro one day, but I know for that to happen it will take time, hard work, and dedication. Before I go pro I will like to get an education to set myself up in the future after my playing days are done and for that to happen I have to go to college and that is why I plan on playing for a collegiate team, bring success to that program. My goals are to become the best player in the country, score many goals, and win a championship. I want to make a big impact on the field during my collegiate playing years. What makes me different and stand out from other recruits is that I am humble, consistent, dedicated, and always finish what I start. Ever since I came to the U.S from Guniea, West Africa I set goals for myself, and up till this day I have achieved and accomplish all of them. Another thing is that I'm very talented and skilled both technical and tactical-wise. I know how to play the game well, and most importantly I know how to read the game. My soccer IQ is very high and I think that is very important for a player to have because it helps the player and the team when on the field. Last but not least I'm an academic standout, I take pride in my education and always strive to have the best grades possible.
