Robert Watson '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. When I first stepped on the soccer pitch, I knew that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I know that playing college soccer is a once an a lifetime opportunity that change the next forty years of my life.

I have excellent ball handling skills especially in 1v1 situations and I have great vision on the ball with incredible speed. My acceleration also helps be blow by defenders and it also helps me create space for a shot or a set-up pass. I am a team-leader so I encourage my teammates and develop good relationships with them so we can perform well as a team on the pitch. I am very coachable and strive to get better every single day. I am one of the hardest working recruits you will ever find because of my determination and my ability to overcome obstacles on and off the field.

In the classroom I maintain a high GPA and I participate in many clubs including chess club and community service club. I was also invited to a leadership training at my school for a couple of weeks. This past season I ran the 4 by 4 in the Penn Relays and ran a flat 60.

I want to attend a college that can set me up for the next forty years of my life. I want to be able to push myself in  classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to be able to play at the most competitive and highest level I can possible. I hope to be a great role model to my peers and to make my whole family proud.
