Kevin J. Hernande...Personal Statement
When I was in first grade my gym teacher noticed my potential as a soccer player and invited me to play for the school team. I immediately fell in love with the sport and I knew that I belonged here. I am currently a central back or central defending midfielder at my school team, Colegio San José (Puerto Rico), and central mid (attacking or defending), my original position, at my club team, GPS Conquistadores (Puerto Rico). As a student I have a 3.8+ GPA with a demanding curriculum at a very competitive school. I am ranked 27 out of 80 students in my class.
What makes me different about other players is my sportsmanship and humbleness. I don't play for me, I play for the team and to win. It would be a dream come true to be part of a great program. I'm a team player and not an individual one. I'm a good motivator that always want to contribute and help the team.
