Sergio Rivera '21 Recruiting Profile

I began playing soccer when I was three years old and I feel in love with the game. Through out the years I’ve been privileged to have experiences that have influenced me and made me want to become the best player I can be. I really believe that being part of a college team would be an amazing opportunity and help me grow as a player and leader. 

As being a defender, one of the most crucial roles in a team, I am used to be the speaker of the game. I have excellent ball handling, first touch, footwork, and great passing. As co-captain, I always strive for more and try to set an example for my teammates. I always try to be the most hard working player in the team.

As a student-athlete, I dedicate a lot of time to my studies to maintain my GPA.

Finally I aspire to find the right college match so that I could finish my academic goals while competing at the highest level possible.
