Jose Ortiz-Rivas '25 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are having an amazing experience while preparing myself in my academic field, learn new things, a new game style and getting better as a player but also as a person. What makes me a good candidate is that I have speed, strength, height, and leadership in the field and it's been my passion since I was 5 years old. What makes me different from other recruits is that I communicate a lot and in soccer is one of the most important keys for a better team. Academics is always important, no matter what, and I have been working hard in high school to keep my GPA in 3.50+ while playing in my club in Puerto Rico (Bayamon FC) which is one of the best elite club in my country.  By playing in college I can assure that I will be preparing myself for my career while representing my team.
