Since I was a kid, two of my main goals have been to make it to college and play a sport for the university. I currently have two main career interests (engineering and medicine fields) and want to keep my options open at this stage while I consider my final decision over the years to come during High School.
My interest in sports started from an early stage of life. I began playing soccer at the age of 7 years. It was when I was 10 years old when my first opportunity to travel to play in Spain appeared. Fortunately, my team thrive and won the championship of the tournament. In addition to that experience, since 4th grade I have also played others sports for my school, including Volleyball, Cross Country, Golf and Soccer. Concurrently to playing Club Soccer, and due to my passion for Volleyball, I entered into a Club when I was 11 and still today I continue to practice. Interestingly, as part of my personal interest in sports is very common to find me watching goalkeeping videos in YouTube. I truly believe that besides practice it is important to also watch tactical and practical videos. That way the fundamentals of sports are better understood.
In terms of my academic goals and interest, is important to take into consideration that I'm still in 8th grade (heading to 9th grade in August). For that reason, I'm still exploring my career choices, although I have preferences for the engineering and medicine fields. What I'm very clear today is that I definitively want to go to college, first to pursue my bachelors degree and then go to a graduate school i the field of my choice.
I could describe myself as a person that gives attention to details, communicative, organized, and structure. Now that I'm heading to high school I'm looking forward to take honor and AP courses in order to better prepared for college admission. Now that I have get to know NCSA, it would be an honor to continue to work along with you to coach me during fore coming years in preparing myself for my admission to college in 2023.
