Liam Cody '23 Recruiting Profile

    Hi I’m Liam Cody, I’m a fifteen year old from Rhode Island and I play for my high school team and the Rhody Rams premier team and I'm very passionate about soccer.  I’m à multidimensional player, for my first couple years at my high school and for my rams team I play mid field but my coaches for high school want me to play center back for my reminder of high school.  l know that sounds like a generic statement but it's true soccer really is what I love and what I surround my life around.  Not only have I played soccer I’ve helped out my community with soccer as well such as referring games, helping out with setting up for tournaments, and helping out coach a little bit. I recently just finished my sophomore season for soccer and my team made it to the semifinals but ended up losing.  I played varsity both my freshman and sophomore year but earned my starting spot on the team as a sophomore.  So far my highschool soccer experience has been good except for covid but besides that I’ve learned a lot and gained a lot of experience just in the two years I’ve been playing at Westerly High School.  I plan to continue playing for my junior and senior season and I’m hoping to put in enough effort to eventually carry out playing soccer throughout college as well.
