Dejan Savic '16 Recruiting Profile

As a child, soccer and tennis were my primary sports, and I loved them both.  Freshman and sophomore year, I played both varsity tennis and varsity soccer.  At the beginning of my junior year, I decided to focus solely on soccer because of my desire to excel in the sport.  All three years of my high school career, I have been the starting forward for varsity. Within my team, I had a leadership role because many of my teammates looked up to me. I always hold myself to the highest standards. Having a strong work ethic and never giving up on the ball are important ideals to me that I practice both on and off the field. Academically, I am a straight A student who enjoys learning new concepts and working hard to set myself up for a successful future. Helping others in any aspect, even the littlest of things, is among one of my most important ideals.
